The Reading Festival is an annual music festival that takes place in Reading, United Kingdom and is run by Festival Republic (itself owned by Live Nation and MCD). Reading Festival takes place on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the August bank holiday weekend. Reading Festival Fans! Get Ready! Reading Festival 2010 is back with extravaganza live performances.Every year the Reading Festival grows a little older and with this musically wiser. The festival has been going, in one shape or another since it’s conception as a Jazz event in 1961, a time when audio was in its ‘rock n roll infancy’; before the invention of music as we know it today and the time when the festival laid down its roots as the UK’s premier  festival.

The Nme Awards are an annual music awards show, founded by the music magazine, NME (New Musical Express).The first awards show was held in 1953 as the Nme Poll Winners Concerts, shortly after the founding of the magazine.The awards began as the Nme Poll Winners Concert and awards ceremonies in the 1953. These continued through the 1960s, where concerts were filmed and broadcast on ITV. The Beatles and The Rolling Stones were most commonly featured.

Lynyrd Skynyrd is an American rock band, formed in Jacksonville, Florida in 1964. The band became prominent in the Southern United States in 1973, and rose to worldwide recognition before three members and one road crew member died in an airplane crash in 1977, including lead vocalist and primary songwriter Ronnie Van Zant. The band reformed in 1987 for a reunion tour with Ronnie’s younger brother Johnny Van Zant as the frontman and continues to record music today. The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on March 13, 2006.

Rob Thomas, the lead singer of Matchbox Twenty has earned a great level of love and respect through his amazing hit singles, which he has sung and written. This singer has been successful in winning three Grammy Awards.
